Food Service Director Responsibilities and Qualifications Include:

  • Planning, preparing, and serving daily meals for 100 students plus staff
  • Purchasing food and supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining a strong cost management environment
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Compliance with federal, state and local regulations
  • Adherence to the National School Lunch Program guidelines
  • Current ServSafe Certification
  • Computer proficiency: Knowledge of PrimeroEdge is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and self-motivated

Job Type: Hourly Wage (20-25 hours per week)

Experience and Education:

  • Associate‚Äôs degree with academic major or concentration in a related field
  • Food Service: 1 or more years
  • Management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Working with children: 1 year (Preferred)
